Chelsea Watkins (Columbia, Md./Hammond) finished a free-position shot 36 seconds later before Dirksen won the ensuing draw control and went straight to goal to make it a 12-6 game with 26:04 remaining.

Back-to-back Beaudry-to-Entrot goals just 50 seconds apart closed the deficit to 12-8 before Kaitlin Mahoney (Port Jefferson Station, N.Y./Comsewogue) hit from eight meters to make it a three-goal game with 21:41 to play.

A Hamelryck unassisted goal and free-position markers from Kjellman and Direksen extended the lead back to five just 3 minutes, 26 seconds later before Bopst and Dirksen traded solo runs in the final 10 minutes.

Messiah finished with a 33-19 advantage in shots, including 21-7 in the decisive first half.

Paige Messersmith (Phoenix, Md./Dulaney) recorded five draw controls, three ground balls and two caused turnovers while Kaylee Hoover (Winter Garden, Fla./West Orange) notched three ground balls and two caused turnovers.
