WESTMINSTER, Md. – Stephen Griffiths won
twice to lead Haverford to an 8-1 victory over McDaniel in
Centennial Conference (CC) men's tennis action on Saturday.
The Fords (12-2, 7-0 CC) swept doubles en route to remaining
unblemished in conference play.
Griffiths teamed with Joseph Tan for an 8-2 win at
third doubles before taking a 6-1, 6-2 decision at fourth
singles.
Ben Faber (Wayne, Pa./Conestoga) registered the
lone win for the Green Terror (4-8, 0-6 CC), taking a 6-4, 6-2 win
at No. 2 singles.
McDaniel returns to action at Washington (Md.) on Tuesday. Match
time is 3:30 p.m.
