Bullets outshoot McDaniel 22-2 in 2-0 win

WESTMINSTER, Md. - Tara Gaston scored in the 40th minute as part of Gettysburg's 2-0 win over McDaniel in Centennial Conference (CC) women's soccer action on Wednesday.

The Bullets (9-4-1, 4-2-1 CC) finished the game with a 22-2 advantage in shots and 14-1 advantage in corner kicks.

Leanne Hollinger (Westmisnter, Md./Winters Mill) reached double-digit saves for the fourth straight game for the Green Terror (3-11-1, 2-5 CC), tallying 11.

Gaston finished a Sam Hellerman feed at the 39:29 mark to take a 1-0 lead into the intermission.

Casey Attanasio scored the other goal for Gettysburg, scoring off a Kerry McKenna assist at the 57:39 mark.

McDaniel returns to action at Washington (Md.) on Saturday. Game time is 4 p.m.
