DANBURY, Conn. - After posting its highest win total since 2013-14, the McDaniel College men's basketball team was selected to the ECAC Division III Men's Basketball Championship for the second consecutive season.

The Green Terror (16-10) earned the third-seed in pod 1 and will travel to second-seeded Keene State in Keene, New Hampshire to take on sixth-seeded Rutgers-Camden this Saturday, March 7. The host Owls will take on Maine-Presque Isle in the other quarterfinal contest. The two winners will play on Sunday, March 8.

In pod 2, top-seeded Pitt-Greensburg will face eighth-seeded SUNY Maritime while host and fifth-seeded New Jersey City will take on fourth-seeded Franciscan.

The winner of each pod will play in the championship game on Saturday, March 14.

This will mark the fifth ECAC tournament for McDaniel who advanced to the Centennial Conference Men's Basketball Championship for the first time since 2016 this season. The Green Terror also had appearances in 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2025. They have a record of 1-4 in its four previous appearances, picking up their first win a year ago at home, 72-63 against Pitt-Greensburg.
