PENN LAIRD, VA – The women's indoor track & field team traveled to Rockingham for the Rockingham Classic hosted by Bridgewater. 

Junior Sophia Leone placed third in pole vault with a mark of 3.07m. Junior Michaela Carney jumped 2.92m to place sixth. First year Allison Kapustka jumped 2.92m to place ninth. Senior Allie Rolek jumped 2.62m to place tenth and moved to tenth in program history. 

Sophomore Gabby DeMarco placed third in the triple jump with a jump of 9.94m 

Senior Anna Rando placed seventh in the 60 meters with a time of 8.26. Rando also placed seventh in the 60 meter dash with a time of 9.84. 

First year Isabel Meadows-Soto ran 5:35.64 to place tenth in the mile. First year Sophie Tressler ran 6:48.36 to place 31st. 

First year Evie Eggers ran 11:17.24 in the 3000 meters to place fourth. 

Senior Elyssa Greene placed 12th in long jump with a mark of 3.40m.  

Senior Kate Principio placed 17th in shot put with a throw of 8.65m. Sophomore De'Ashia Davis placed 21st with a mark of 8.19m. Sophomore Maddie Alexander threw 7.19m to place 22nd. Junior Sophie Schwaab placed 24th with a throw of 7.05m. Principio also placed 20th in the weight throw with a mark of 9.20m. 

Senior Piper Nagaraj ran 2:40.08 in the 800 meters to place 19th. Senior Anna Kale ran 2:40.44 to follow in 20th. Senior Arianna Lowengrub ran 2:52.83 to place 24th. 

McDaniel will return to action for the Centennial Conference Championships hosted by Franklin & Marshall on Saturday, February 28th and finishing on Sunday, March 1st.
