SELINSGROVE, PA – The women's indoor track & field team traveled to Susquehanna for the Valentine Invitational. 

Sophomore Tara Hornung placed fifth in pole vault with a personal best 3.25m. This mark improves Hornung's number two all-time ranking. Junior Sophia Leone placed sixth with a mark of 3.25m. Junior Michaela Carney placed tenth with a jump of 3.10m. First year Allison Kapustka placed 13th with a jump of 2.80m. 

Senior Anna Rando placed tenth in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 9.98. Rando also ran 8.32 in the 60 meter dash, finishing in 13th. Graduate student Taylor Pinthiere placed 39th running 9.28. 

Senior Ameerah Johnson placed tenth in weight throw with a mark of 12.77m. Senior Kate Principio placed 33rd with a mark of 9.95m. Principio also placed 42nd in shot put with a mark of 7.32m 

Sophomore Gabby DeMarco placed 15th in long jump with a mark of 4.72m. Pinthiere jumped 4.12m to place 23rd. DeMarco also placed 14th in triple jump with a mark of 9.92m. 

Junior Maya Colavito ran a personal best 11:26.30 in the 3000 meters to place seventh. 

Senior Piper Nagaraj placed 13th in the 1 mile with a time of 6:02.65. Senior Anna Kale ran 6:13.50 to place 18th. Senior Arianna Lowengrub ran 6:55.86, placing in 28th. 

McDaniel will return to action for the Rockingham Collegiate Open hosted by Bridgewater on Friday, February 20th.
