Thomas Monn won his fourth-straight conference championship at 149 pounds to lead the McDaniel College men's wrestling team at the 2026 Centennial Conference Wrestling Championship hosted by Merchant Marine on Saturday.
The Green Terror finished fifth as a team, totaling 40.5 points. Ursinus took home the team title with 93.5 points while Gettysburg finished second with 87.5 points.

Neil Sharma just missed the podium with fourth-place finishes at 174 and 133 pounds, respectively.
The Green Terror have had 56 conference champions, the second-most all-time behind the 66 from Ursinus.
Monn was named Most Outstanding Performer for the third year in-a-row, posting two convincing wins to become the first wrestler in program history and the ninth in the history of the Centennial Conference to win four individual championships.
Monn also received the Chris Clifford Award for having earned the most career points in the Centennial Championship. He is the fifth Green Terror to earn the award and the second in the last three years after Jaedyn Harris earned it in 2024.
After a first-round bye, Monn recorded a first-period fall in just 2:12 over Aidan Krass of Merchant Marine. He then posted a 17-1 tech fall in 5:44 over Gettysburg's Jake Mitchell in the final. Mitchell is currently ranked fourth in the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Region 3 rankings.
Monn finishes his four-year career with a perfect record against conference competition, posting a 19-0 record in conference matches and a mark 27-0 including the conference tournament.
Bryan, ranked sixth in Region 3, opened his tournament with a 15-7 major decision over Gettysburg's Simon Taylor who is ranked eighth in Region 3. In the final, Bryan was pinned by Mo Adbdelatty of Ursinus who is ranked 11th nationally and second in Region 3.
Dolezel began his day with a loss by major decision to Andrew Schaen of Ursinus who is ranked third in Region 3 before rebounding with back-to-back wins beginning with an 18-3 tech fall over Johns Hopkins' Nick Grifffin. In the third-place match, Dolezel recorded a fall in 4:30 over Merchant Marine's Colin Dragon.
Taylor went 2-2 on the day, starting with a 12-8 victory over Arthur Gordon of Johns Hopkins, avenging an 11-10 loss to Gordon on February 6. Taylor was pinned by AJ Cerulli of Ursinus who is ranked fourth in Region 3 before advancing to the third-place match with a 5-1 decision over Muhlenberg's Nolan Schlofer.
In the third-place match, Taylor was pinned by Andrew Huesgen of Merchant Marine who is ranked eighth in Region 3.
Sharma went 1-1 to advance to the third-place match at 133 pounds before falling to Blaise Verdino of Ursinus by an 11-5 decision. Verdino is ranked sixth in Region 3.
The Green Terror return to action next Sunday, Feb. 22 at the Mideast Futures Tournament hosted by Alvernia. The NCAA Region III Championships begin on Friday, Feb. 27 at The College of New Jersey.
