READING, PA – The women's indoor track & field team traveled to Alvernia for the PLEX Shootout. 

Junior Sophia Leone placed fourth in pole vault with a mark of 3.20m. Junior Michaela Carney placed ninth jumping 2.75m. Sophomore Tara Hornung placed 13th with a mark of 2.75m. First year Allison Kapustka placed 15th jumping 2.75m. Senior Summer James placed 18th with a mark of 2.45m, qualifying for the conference championship. Senior Allie Rolek jumped 2.45m to place 18th. 

Senior Anna Rando placed ninth in the 60 meter hurdles running 10.14. Rando also placed 14th in the 200 meters, running 28.20 and qualifying for the conference championship. 

Sophomore Gabby DeMarco placed 12th in triple jump with a mark of 9.51m. jumped 4.78m in long jump to place 14th. Rando placed 17th jumping 4.68m. Senior Elyssa Greene jumped 4.03m to place 27th. 

First year Isabel Meadows-Soto ran 5:40.19 in the 1 mile, placing tenth. 

First year Evie Eggers ran 11:37.66 placed 11th in the 3000 meters. Junior Maya Colavito ran 11:51.23 to place 13th. 

Senior Piper Nagaraj placed 21st in the 800 meters, running 2:39.38. Senior Anna Kale followed in 25th with a time of 2:46.31. Senior Arianna Lowengrub placed 36th running a personal best 2:53.72. 

Junior Sophie Schwaab placed 51st in shot put with a throw of 7.23m. 

McDaniel will return to action for the Mini-Dip Invitational hosted by Franklin & Marshall on Saturday February 7th.
