Relays, Hornung Lead on Final Day of Conference Championship

LANCASTER, Pa. - The McDaniel College women's track & field team wrapped up competition at the Centennial Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships Sunday at Franklin & Marshall.

The Green Terror finished 10th with nine points. Johns Hopkins won the conference championship with 299.5 points.

The 4x400-meter relay team of junior Anna Rando, sophomore Kaitlyn Bard, junior Anna Kale, and junior Piper Nagaraj placed 10th with a time of 4:32.48.

Freshman Tara Hornung placed 11th in the high jump with a mark of 1.34m (4' 4.75").

Junior Nadia Dennis placed 16th in the shot put with a throw of 10.40m (34' 1.5") while junior Ameerah Johnson placed 17th with a throw of 9.96m (32' 8.25").

Freshman Gabby DeMarco placed 17th in the high jump with a mark of 4.59m (15' 0.75").

The Green Terror close out their season at the South Region Final Qualifier hosted by Shenandoah on Friday, March 7.
