LANCASTER, Pa – Sophomore Sophia Leone reset her own program record at the Coach I Invitational at Franklin & Marshall.

Leone placed fourth in the pole vault resetting her own program record to 3.03m (9-11.25). Junior Summer James placed 26th with a mark of 2.28m (6-11.75). Freshman Tara Hornung jumped 2.13m (6-11.75) to place 28th.
Freshman Gabby DeMarco placed 12th in the long jump with a mark of 4.63m (15-2.25). DeMarco also placed 12th in the triple jump with a mark of 9.69m (31-9.50).
The 4x400 meter relay of Junior Piper Nagaraj, Junior Anna Kale, Sophomore Kaitlyn Bard, and Junior Anna Rando ran 5:05.54 to place 13th.
Sophomore Maya Colavito placed 17th in the 5000 meter run with a time of 21:30.94. Junior Natalie Kaminsky ran 24:03.24 to place 22nd.
Rando placed 18th in the 60 meter hurdles running 10.52. Rando also placed 19th in the 200 meter dash with a time of 28.29. Freshman Nakayla Ross ran 30.61 to place 41st.
Nagaraj ran 2:42.39 in the 800 meter run to place 24th. Junior Abby Warner ran 3:11.17 placing 46th. Bard ran 3:29.79 to place 48th.
Hornung placed 24th in high jump with a mark of 1.27m (4-2). Leone also jumped 1.27m finishing in 29th.
Junior Ameerah Johnson placed 27th in the weight throw with a mark of 10.81m (35-5.75). Junior Kate Principio placed 32nd throwing 10.15m (33-3.75) qualifying for the Centennial Conference Championship. Johnson placed 28th in shot put with a mark of 9.10m (29-10.25). Freshman Dakota Benson placed 51st with a mark of 7.10m (23-3.50).
Ross placed 27th in the 60 meter dash with a time of 8.68. Junior Allison Rolek ran a personal best 9.36 to place 52nd.
Kale ran 6:14.86 in the 1 mile to place 35th. Junior Arianna Lowengrub placed 52nd running 7:02.08.
The Green Terror will return to action on Friday, January 31st. They will be splitting the squad sending some athletes to the Marlin Invitational hosted by Virginia Wesleyan and some to the Larry Sharpe Memorial Invite hosted by Hagerstown Community College.
