ALLENTOWN, Pa. - McDaniel College men's track & field senior John Geniti finished fourth in the pole vault on the first day of the Centennial Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships Friday at Muhlenberg.
The Green Terror sit in sixth out of nine teams with six points. Johns Hopkins holds the lead with 40 points.
Geniti placed posted the second-best mark in program history with a jump of 13-feet, 6.50-inches. Senior Jack McBride placed ninth with a mark of 11-feet, 1-inch.
Sophomore Jacob Graham placed eighth in the hammer throw with a mark of 140-feet, 10-inches which is also the second-best mark in team history.
The second day of competition at the 2024 Centennial Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships get underway on Saturday at 10 a.m.
