COLUMBIA, Md. - McDaniel College men's track & field Senior Chett Brunner moves up the shot-put all-time list, and places top two in shot put and discus.
There were no team scores.
Brunner won the shot put with a throw of 48-6.75. This mark moves him to fifth in program history. Sophomore Jayden Rodwell placed third with a throw of 39-9.75. Freshman Jacob Gibson placed eight with a throw of 33-4.75.
Junior Oral-Anthony Coleman won the long jump with a mark of 21-7.25. Junior Keiron Wilson placed third with a mark of 19-9.5. Sophomore Christian Taylor jumped 18-10.5 to place fifth. Freshman Braylon Johnson placed eight with a mark of 17-9. Sophomore Christian Homer took ninth with a mark of 17-8.75. Senior DaVaughn Joyner jumped 16-11.5 to place tenth.
Sophomore Jack Reiser won the 1500 with a time of 4:29.09. Senior Tyler Richardson took third with a time of 4:33.51. Junior Anders Madsen followed with a time of 4:33.89. Freshman Fabrizzio Verano Valderrama placed ninth with a time of 4:56.83. Junior Joc Baldacci ran 5:04.50 to place tenth.
Sophomore Jack Sears ran 16:08.44 to win the 5000 meter run. Baldacci ran 18:55.99 to finish eighth.
Senior Tyren Proctor won the 110 hurdles with a time of 15.01. Senior Kyle Hubbard followed with a time of 16.72
Senior John Geniti won pole vault with a mark of 12-6. Senior Jack McBride placed second with a jump of 11-0.
The 4x800 meter relay team of Madsen, Richardson, Sears, and Reiser won with a time of 8:24.19.
Junior Jacob Graham placed second in the hammer throw with a personal best 133-5. Senior Jake Conklin placed fourth with a mark of 98-9. Freshman Jamey Travers threw 96-5 to place fifth. Gibson placed sixth throwing 96-5.
Brunner placed second in the discus with a throw of 130-6. Graham placed fourth with a throw of 115-10. Travers threw 105-1 to place fifth. Conklin placed sixth with a throw of 102-8. Rodwell threw 96-4 to place seventh, Gibson threw 74-2 to place 12th.
Taylor placed second in high jump with a mark of 5-8.75. Freshman Josh Codrington jumped 5-7 to place third. Keiron Wilson jumped 5-5 to place fourth.
Keiron Wilson placed second in triple jump with a mark of 43-7. Homer placed fifth with a mark of 39-4.5.
The 4x100 meter relay team of Hubbard, Coleman, Keiron Wilson, and Proctor placed second with a time of 44.85.
Coleman placed third in the 200 meter dash with a time of 22.59. Johnson ran 24.15 to take tenth. Joyner placed 12th running 25.71. Chris Wilson ran 25.75 to place 13th.
Coleman placed third in the 100 meter dash with a time of 11.04. Codrington placed 20th running 11.94, Proctor followed in 21st with a time of 12.17. Joyner ran 12.32 to place 25th, and Chris Wilson placed 24th running 12.63.
Hubbard placed third in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 59.65. Senior Nick Raumann ran a time of 68.89.
Conklin placed third in the javelin with a throw of 125-9. Chris Wilson threw 90-11 to take sixth. Travers placed eighth with a throw of 70-0.
The 4x400 meter relay team of Madsen, Johnson, Hubbard, Reiser placed fourth with a time of 3:39.39.
Freshman Simon Greenberg ran a time of 2:30.93 in the 800 to place ninth.
Johnson placed 12th in the 400-meter dash with a time of 56.49. Senior Braden Fink placed 13th with a time of 58.12.
The Green Terror will be back in action Wednesday April 17th, for the Mid-Week Invitational hosted by Shippensburg University.
