Mullen, Morgan Lead at the Blue & White Invitational

Graduate Student Bailey Mullen and Senior Katie Morgan led the McDaniel College women's indoor track & field team at the Blue & White Invitational hosted by Franklin & Marshall. 

While there were no team scores, the Green Terror competed against two other Centennial Conference schools, including Franklin & Marshall and Dickinson 

Mullen won the 5000 meter run with a personal best time of 18:33.87. Freshman Maya Colavito placed third with a time of 20:42.30. 

Morgan placed second in the 400 meter dash with a time of 60.73. 

Sophomore Anna Kale placed second in the 1000 meter run with a time fo 3:46.66. Sophomore Abby Warner followed in third with a time of 4:21.13. 

Senior Angel Bidgell placed 7th in the 60 meter hurdles in a time of 10.11. Sophomore Anna Rando placed eleventh with a time of 10.20. They now sit sixth and ninth all time for the program. 

Sophomore Sophia Leone and Junior Zelda Hirsch tied for eighth in pole vault with a mark of 2.68 meters (8-9.5). Sophomore Sofia DelRosso-Freeman placed tenth with the same height. 

Sophomore Ameerah Johnson placed eighth in shot put with a personal best throw of 10.50 meters (34-5.50). Sophomore Kate Principio placed 35th (7.20m/23-7.50) with Senior Samantha Vogel in 36th (7.05m/23-1.75). Senior Mikayla Smith placed 41st with a throw of 5.65 meters (18-6.50). 

Rando placed 12th in the 60 meter dash with a time of 8.455. Following close behind was Bidgell in a time of 8.459 in 13th. Sophomore Krista DiPalma placed 27th with a time of 8.94. 

Bidgell placed 12th in high jump with a mark of 1.37 meters (4-6). 

Sophomore Elyssa Greene placed 13th in triple jump with a mark of 8.31 meters (27-3.25). 

Sophomore Piper Nagaraj finished 17th in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:36.49. Junior Emily Paulson ran 2:58.02 to finish 35th. 

In weight throw Johnson placed 20th with a throw 10.86 meters (35-7.75). Smith placed 27th with a throw of 10.10 meters (33-1.75). Principio followed in 28th with a throw of 9.84 meters (32-3.50). All three got personal bests to better their marks on the program top 10 list. 

Greene placed 22nd in long jump with a mark of 3.93 meters (12-19.75). 

DiPalma placed 28th in the 200 meter dash with a time of 30.69. 

McDaniel will return to action for the Father Diamond Invitational hosted by George Mason on Friday February 16th.
