Box Score WESTMINSTER, Md. - The McDaniel College women's tennis team closed out its home schedule on Sunday, falling to Gettysburg in a non-conference match at the Warfield Tennis Courts, 9-0.
Liz Fyfe and
Carly Jarkiewicz teamed up at No. 1 doubles, taking a game from the Bullets before falling 8-1.
Fyfe battled at No. 2 singles in the closest contested match, but fell 6-2, 6-3.
Rachel Smith won three games at No. 3 singles, falling to Emma Ward, 6-2, 6-`1.
After losing the first set at No. 4 singles, 6-0,
Mackenzie McCarter came back to win two games in set two, but fell 6-2.
McDaniel returns to action on Friday, April 28 at Bryn Mawr at 4 p.m.
