GETTYSBURG, Pa. - The McDaniel College women's tennis team dropped a non-conference contest on the road at Gettysburg Friday, 7-0.
Freshman
Stephanie Buttons led the Green Terror (4-11) in a hard-fought match at No. 1 singles against Sarah Guistwite, falling 6-3, 6-4.
The Bullets (9-11) won all three doubles flights to earn the first point, losing just one game in three sets.
Senior
Mackenzie McCarter partnered with freshman
Jillian Lasher at No. 2 doubles, winning one game before falling 6-1.
Lasher played Eden Levkov at No. 3 singles, pick up a game in the second set in a 6-0, 6-1 loss.
At No. 2 singles, senior
Lil Overcash won a game in the opening set versus Emma Ward before falling 6-1, 6-0.
McCarter also won a game in the first set at No. 4 singles against  Shoshi Dondes, but fell by a 6-1, 6-0 decision.
Senior
Nakayla Lawson and freshman
Emily Larson were able to win two games each, but Lawson fell to Kate Alianiello at No. 5 singles, 6-1, 6-1 while Larson dropped a 6-2, 6-0 decision to Cara Cavorsi at No. 6.
McDaniel wraps ip its 2024-25 season on Sunday when it heads to Bryn Mawr for a 2 p.m. match against the Owls.
