Carly Jarkiewicz recorded the team's lone win at No. 1 singles as the Green Terror fell to Lancaster Bible Wednesday on the Warfield Tennis Courts, 8-1.
After hosting Penn State Abington at Carroll Tennis Center on March 10, Wednesday marked the first home match for McDaniel (1-5) this spring.
Jarkiewicz picked up her first win this season with a hard fought 3-6, 6-4, 11-9 decision over Sierra Hartmann.
The team's leader in wins this season, sophomore
Rachel Smith nearly picked up her third win at No. 3 singles, but was edged by Jania Weist, 6-4, 6-3.

Mackenzie McCarter at No. 2 doubles, giving the Green Terror their best chance at a win before falling, 8-3. Individually, McCarter fell to Alycia Eglauer at No. 4 singles, 6-3, 6-1.
McDaniel, who plays at home three times this week, returns to action on Saturday when the team hosts Penn State Berks. First serve is at 12 p.m.
