LANCASTER, Pa.- The McDaniel women's track and field finished the Centennial Conference Championships with 18 points to finish ninth in the team scores.
Junior Angel Bidgell led the second with fifth in long jump with a jump of 5.06m. Her mark places third in program history. Bidgell also competed in the 200m to finish in fifteenth in 27.43. Junior Katie Morgan led in the sprints with ninth in the 400m for 1:02.18 and twelfth in the 200m in 27.34. Morgan was also part of the ninth place 4x400m relay with junior Yeseniah Ortiz, senior Megan O'Neill, and freshman Anna Rando to finish in 4:19.74 to rank eighth in program history.
Senior Bailey Mullen capped off the team points with seventh in the 3000m in 10:56.17.
Senior Renee Dupre ended her weekend with fourteenth in high jump with a height of 1.39m. O'Neill scored a season record in the 800m with 2:33.64 for twenty fourth place.
Rando placed eighteenth in the 200m in 27.54 followed by twenty second place Collins in 28.13, and twenty fourth place Ortiz in 28.54. Freshman Ameerah Johnson capped off the day with twenty first in shot put with a throw of 9.39m along with freshman Taylor Pinthiere in long jump for 4.48m to place twentieth.
The team will be back in action on March 3-4 to compete in the South Region Final Qualifier hosted by Shenandoah University.
