THE LEADERS
• Kassidee Wright (Glen Burnie, Md./Northeast) was one of five Green Terror players to record two wins on the day. She and Elizabeth Hough (Gaithersburg, Md./Winston Churchill) took third doubles 8-1 before Wright notched a 6-0, 6-2 win at sixth singles.
• Carly Jarkiewicz (Hampstead, Md./Manchester Valley) led the way at the top of the lineup, winning 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 singles after teaming with Elizabeth Fyfe (Media, Pa./Penncrest) for an 8-1 win at first doubles. Fyfe was a 6-4, 6-1 winner at second singles.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• Rachel Smith (Hanover, Pa./South Western) dropped just one game in a 2-0 day. She and Mackenzie McCarter (Hagerstown, Md./South Hagerstown) won second doubles, 8-0. Smith took No. 3 singles, 6-0, 6-1.
• McCarter capped her two-win day with a 6-0, 6-1 win at fourth singles.
• Miranda Smith (Cambridge, Md./North Dorchester) rounded out the day with a 6-0, 6-0 win at fifth singles.
