Baskets from Precieux and Kedrick Frink trimmed the deficit to one nearly two minutes later. Four Chris McAboy (Martinsburg, W.Va./St. Maria Goretti [Md.]) free throws and a Joey Reiling (Mullica Hill, N.J./Clearview Regional) 3-pointer keyed a 7-2 stretch that pushed the advantage to 21-15 with 11:10 showing. A Josh Arruda (Morrisville, Pa./Pennsbury) jumper gave the Green Terror its largest first-half lead at 32-23 with 5:11 to play. Four straight Washington points cut the deficit to single digits a minute later but two Truby free throws with 14:34 on the clock pushed the lead back to double digits and the game never fell below a 10-point margin again.
