THE SKINNY STORY
McDaniel brought home a pair of bronze medals to lead the way in a ninth-place finish at the 2020 ECAC championship hosted at the NY Armory.
THE LEADERS
• Megan Mesick (Fredericksburg, Va./Chancellor) grabbed the bronze medal in the mile with a time of 5:28.74. That time ranks eighth in program history. She was also fifth in the 1000 with a time of 3:17.98.
• Megan O'Neill (Mt. Airy, Md./South Carroll) also captured a bronze, crossing third in a time of 2:25.40. Her mark is third in program history.
FOR THE FOES:
• The Green Terror finished ninth with 26 points.
• Salisbury won the championship among 20 scoring teams with 152 points
THE REST OF THE STORY
• Gabby Collins (Indian Head, Md./North Point) finished fourth in the 200 with a time of 26.64, which is fourth in program history. Collins was also ninth in the prelims of the 60 meters, posting a time of 8.14 seconds to move into fifth place in program history.
• The 4x200-meter relay of Dixon, Priscilla Owusu, Case and Gabby Collins was fourth with a time of 1:51.40. The mark is 10th in program history.
