THE SKINNY STORY
McDaniel posted five all-time top-10 marks at the 2020 Centennial Conference (CC) championship.
THE LEADERS
• Renee Dupre (Hagerstown, Md./Smithsburg) led the Green Terror with a seventh-place showing in the pentathlon, tallying 2,086 points to rank fifth in program history. She had the third best mark in the field in the 60 hurdles with a time of 10.51 seconds. That was also her highest scoring event with 620 points. She turned in personal-best performances in the high jump (1.36 meters) and shot put (6.92 meters). Dupre also placed 11th in the open hurdles with a time of 10.50 seconds.
• Gabby Collins (Indian Head, Md./North Point) placed seventh in the 200 with a time of 27.15 seconds, which ranks fifth in program history. She also moved up to eighth place on the all-time list in the 60, placing 11th in the prelims with a time of 8.28 seconds.
FOR THE FOES:
• The Green Terror finished 10th with sixth points.
• Johns Hopkins won its 10th straight title with 262.25, outdistancing second-place Dickinson by 138.75 points.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• Sarah Case (Frederick, Md./Oakdale) finished ninth in the shot put with a throw of 10.68 meters, which ranks fourth in program history.
• Megan Mesick (Fredericksburg, Va./Chancellor) placed 15th in the 800 with a time of 2:31.09, which ranks 10th in program history.
• Rachel Dixon (Crofton, Md./Arundel) finished 16th with a personal-best time of 8.55 seconds in the 60.
• The 4x200-meter relay of Dixon, Priscilla Owusu, Case and Gabby Collins was seventh with a time of 1:55.04.
• The distance medley relay of Megan O'Neill, Riley O'Hara, Skylar Blackbull and Mesick was ninth with a time of 13:53.19.
• The 4x800-meter relay of O'Neill, Mesick, Blackbull and O'Hara placed 10th with a time of 10:24.38.
THE INSIDE STORY
• Yasmine Kabwasa McGuire placed ninth in the long jump (4.82 meters).
• Megan O'Neill was 13th in the 800 (2:30.42).
• Priscilla Owusu placed 20th in the 60 (8.76 seconds).
• Bailey Mullen was 22nd in the long jump (4.09 meters).
