THE SKINNY STORY
McDaniel had five athletes compete at the DuCharme Invitational in the final chance qualifier before the conference championship meet.
THE LEADERS
• Renee Dupree (Hagerstown, Md./Smithsburg) led the Green Terror with a fourth-place finish in the 55 hurdles, posting a time of 9.93 seconds. She turned in a personal-best mark of 9.68 seconds in the prelims to qualify fourth. She was also 15th with a Centennial Conference (CC)-qualifying jump of 4.15 meters in the long jump. Dupre was also 15th in the shot put (6.59 meters).
• Sarah Case (Frederick, Md./Oakdale) finished fourth in the shot put with a throw of 10.51 meters. The mark ranks fourth in program history.
FOR THE FOES:
• The Green Terror finished seventh with 16 points. Dickinson won the nine-team event with 133.5 points.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• Yasmine Kabwasa McGuire (Columbus, Ga./St. John's Catholic Prep) finished fifth in the long jump with a leap of 4.68 meters.
• Bailey Mullen (Baltimore, Md./The Catholic High School of Baltimroe) was seventh in the triple jump with a personal-best jump of 8.76 meters.
• Anna Persick (West Chester, Pa./Henderson) posted a personal-best time of 3:04.71 to place 13th in the 800.
