McDaniel had two athletes compete at the Swarthmore Final Qualifier.

THE LEADERS
• Alex West (Ashburn, Va./Broad Run) finished fifth in javelin with a throw of 24.68 meters. He was also 15th in the discus with a toss of 26.00 meters.
• Gavin Gibson (Newark, Del./Sanford) finished 16th in the 800 with a time of 1:55.63.
