WESTMINSTER, Md. – McDaniel won the three contested matches in a 9-0 victory over Muhlenberg in Centennial Conference (CC) women's tennis action on Saturday.

The Mules (0-13, 0-10 CC) showed up to the match with just two players. Per ITA rules, a team must have four players available to begin an official match. As a result, the Green Terror (2-15, 1-9 CC) won the match by forfeit.

Maddy Simmons (Bowie, Md./Bowie) and Lindsay Russell (Leonia, N.J./Leonia) were the only McDaniel players to contest matches. The duo combined for an 8-5 win in doubles. Simmons then won 6-1, 6-0 at what would be No. 1 singles while Russell took a 6-3, 6-0 win in the other singles match.
