WESTMINSTER, Md. – Taylor Wagner (Dunkirk, Md./Northern) won the shot put to lead nine winners for McDaniel at its own Twilight Meet in men's outdoor track and field action on Monday.
Scoring:
- The Green Terror won the meet with 244 points. Montgomery College finished a distant second at the six-team meet with 89 points.
Head of the Class: The following athletes won an event at the meet:
- Nathaniel Alston (Catonsville, Md./Benjamin Franklin) won the 400 hurdles (1:01.21) and high jump (5-8).
- Taylor Wagner won the shot put with a mark of 12.94 meters.
- Alex Panagakos (Hampstead, Md./North Carroll) won the 400 with a time of 51.73 seconds.
- Gavin Gibson (Newark, Del./Sanford) won the 800 with a time of 1:59.05.
- Shaun Thompson (Mt. Airy, Md./Glenelg) won the 3000 with a time of 9:38.05.
