CARLISLE, Pa. – Yusrah Adebayo (Silver Spring, Md./Paint Branch) won the 55 hurdles and finished third in the 55 to lead McDaniel at the DuCharme Invitational hosted by Dickinson in the women's indoor track and field action on Saturday.
Scoring:
Head of the Class: The following athletes won an event at the meet:
- Yusrah Adebayo won the 55 hurdles with a time of 8.83 seconds. She qualified first with a time of 9.00 seconds.
Standard Bearer: The following athletes hit Centennial Conference-qualifying marks at the meet:
- Yusrah Adebayo: 55, finishing third with a time of 7.70 seconds; 55 hurdles, finishing first with a time of 8.83 seconds.
- Danielle Baltrip (Andrews AFB, Md./Dr. Henry A. Wise Jr.): 55, finishing fifth in the prelims with a time of 7.99 seconds; 55 hurdles, finishing seventh in the prelims with a time of 9.84 seconds.
Top 10 Worthy: The following athletes achieved a mark that ranks in the program's all-time top 10:
- Yusrah Adebayo now ranks fourth in the 55 hurdles (8.83 seconds).
- Mackenzie Meyer (San Jose, Calif./Pioneer) now ranks sixth in the 600, finishing 2nd (2:09.22).
- Yusrah Adebayo now ranks ninth in the 55 (7.70 seconds).
