Trailing 53-48, Kwiatkowski hit a jumper to make it a one-possession game with 3:43 to play.

Two Lang free throws 30 seconds later cut the deficit to one before Isaac Ray (Fredericksburg, Pa./Northern Lebanon) hit the front end of a 1-and-1 with 1:00 showing to tie the game.

Ingram swished a 3-pointer from the top of the arc on the hosts' next possession for a three-point lead with 44.8 seconds left.

Cannon hit one free throw on the next Green Terror possession before the Garnet hit four of its final six free-throw attempts to escape with the win.

Swarthmore jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the first 57 seconds before triples from Lang and Kwiatkowski helped McDaniel counter with a 14-3 run to take a six-point lead with 14:28 remaining in the opening half.

Two Nate Shafer free throws with 3:26 on the clock sparked a 10-0 run before McWilliams hit a layup in the final second of the half to make it a 31-29 game at the intermission.

Swarthmore led by as many as five in the opening four minutes of the second half.

A Lang trey, however, gave McDaniel a 43-41 lead. McWilliams stretched the lead to 48-45 before an 8-0 burst gave the hosts its late five-point lead.
