COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Yusrah Adebayo (Silver Spring, Md./Paint Branch) finished third in the 60 hurdles to lead McDaniel at the 2018 Centennial Conference women's indoor track and field championship hosted by Ursinus on Saturday and Sunday.
Scoring:
- The Green Terror finished 10th with nine points. Johns Hopkins ran away with its eighth straight title, totaling 235.5 points at the 10-team championship. Haverford finished second with 77 points.
Precious Medals: The following athletes earned a medal at the championship:
- Yusrah Adebayo took bronze in the 60 hurdles with a time of 9.32 seconds out of the first heat. On Saturday, she qualified fifth with a time of 9.72 seconds.
Making a Point: The following athletes earned points at the championship:
- Yusrah Adebayo finished seventh in the 200 with a time of 27.28 seconds.
- Shantae Byro (Baltimore, Md./Northwestern): triple jump, finishing eighth with a jump of 9.80 meters (32-2).
