CHESTERTOWN, Md. – Washington (Md.) did not drop more than two games in any set, defeating McDaniel 9-0 in Centennial Conference (CC) women's tennis action on Saturday.

Brenna Gutshall (Spring Grove, Pa./Spring Grove Area) led the Green Terror (1-6, 0-3 CC) at fifth singles, falling 6-2, 6-2 to Mariah Thomas.

Krista Filipoulos led the Shorewomen (7-2, 3-0 CC) with a 6-0, 6-0 win at third singles. She also partnered with MP Hubert to win No. 2 doubles, 8-1.

McDaniel returns to action at home against Johns Hopkins on Tuesday. Match time is 4:30 p.m.
