WESTMINSTER, Md. – Haverford swept doubles en route to an 8-1 victory over McDaniel in the Centennial Conference (CC) women's tennis opener for both teams on Saturday.

Lindsay Russell (Leonia, N.J./Leonia) led the Green Terror (1-4, 0-1 CC) with a 6-4, 6-3 win at No. 4 singles.

Ali Morrow was a double winner for the Fords (3-4, 1-0 CC). She partnered with Izzy Angstman to win third doubles by default. Morrow also won second singles, 6-1, 6-4. Angstman was a 6-0, 6-1 winner at fifth singles.

McDaniel returns to action at home against Franklin & Marshall on Wednesday. Match time is 3:30 p.m.
