ORLANDO, Fla. – Cornell College swept doubles en route to a 9-0 win over McDaniel in women's tennis action on Sunday.

Lindsay Russell (Leonia, N.J./Leonia) forced a third-set tiebreaker to lead the Green Terror (1-1), taking the second set 6-3. Abbey Nelson won the first set 6-4 before taking the super tiebreaker at fourth singles, 10-7.

Gabriella Ferro led the Rams (14-3) with a 6-0, 6-0 win at third singles. She and Megan Pope also won their doubles match 8-2 in the No. 2 slot.

McDaniel returns to action against McMurray on Wednesday.
