LANDOVER, Md. – Lucy Benson (Wilmington, Del./Sanford) turned in a top-five all-time performance in the 600 to lead McDaniel at the Terrapin Invitational hosted by Maryland in women's indoor track and field action on Saturday.

Standard Bearer: The following athletes hit Centennial Conference-qualifying marks at the meet:
- Shantae Byro (Baltimore, Md./Northwestern): 60, finishing 38th in a time of 8.74 seconds.
- Yusrah Adebayo (Silver Spring, Md./Paint Branch): 200, finishing 26th in a time of 27.68 seconds; 60 hurdles, finishing 23rd in a time of 9.74 seconds.
Top of Her Game: The following athletes turned in a personal-best performance at the meet:
- Mollie Murphy (Short Hills, N.J./Millburn), 800, 3:06.14 (finishing 31st)
- Sarah Lighter (Olney, Md./Good Counsel), mile, 6:25.72 (finishing 31st)
Top 10 Worthy: The following athletes achieved a mark that ranks in the program's all-time top 10:
- Lucy Benson (Wilmington, Del./Sanford) now ranks fourth in the 600, finishing 15th in a time of 2:08.15.
