WESTMINSTER, Md. – McDaniel wrapped up the season, dropping a pair of Centennial Conference (CC) women's tennis matches on Sunday.
Ursinus notched a 9-0 win before Washington (Md.) grabbed an 8-1 victory.
Angela Johnson (Lansdowne, Md./Lansdowne) and Lindsay Russell (Leonia, N.J./Leonia) led the Green Terror (2-14, 0-10 CC), winning the second doubles match against Washington. The duo teamed for an 8-6 victory. Russell also played Caterina Scolamiero to an 8-5 match at fifth singles.
BreAnna Bashaw led the Bears (11-7, 4-6 CC) in the opening match, winning twice without dropping a game. She and Ariel Danzinger won 8-0 at second doubles before Bashaw took second singles, 6-0, 6-0.
April Weaver led the Shorewomen (13-3, 9-1 CC), winning No. 1 doubles with Marielle McIntyre 8-1 before taking first singles, 6-0, 6-0.
