FROSTBURG, Md. – McDaniel won two of three doubles en route to a 5-4 victory over Frostburg in non-conference women's tennis action on Thursday.

Angela Johnson (Lansdowne, Md./Lansdowne) led the Green Terror (2-11) with a pair of victories. She teamed with Laura Penhallegon (Glen Arm, Md./Loch Raven) for an 8-3 victory at second doubles before winning at No. 3 singles, 6-2, 6-0.

Kaitlin Lemmert was one of two players to win twice for the Bobcats (2-12), including teaming with Kayla Kirk for an 8-0 win at No. 1 doubles. Lemmert won second singles 6-1, 6-0 while Kirk took first singles, 6-2, 6-1.

Jessica Measimer (East Hampton, Conn./East Hampton) and Lindsey Russell (Leonia, N.J./Leonia) partnered for an 8-2 win for McDaniel at third doubles.

Penhallegon added a 6-4, 6-1 win at fourth singles while Russell won by walkover at sixth singles.

McDaniel returns to action at Bryn Mawr on Saturday. Match time is 12 p.m.
