HILTON HEAD, S.C. – Frostburg won four of the six singles matches to wrap up a 6-3 victory over McDaniel in non-conference women's tennis action on Wednesday.

Danielle Cloney (Severna Park, Md.) and Nicole Arnold (Pasadena, Md./Chesapeake) led the Green Terror (1-4) with two wins each.

Kayla Kirk led three double winners for the Bobcats (1-5), winning at No. 1 doubles 8-4 with Kaitlin Lemmert before tallying a 6-1, 6-1 victory at No. 2 singles.

Cloney and Arnold teamed for an 9-8 win at third doubles, taking the tiebreaker by an 8-6 score.

Cloney finished her day with a 6-1, 7-5 victory at fourth singles while Arnold won 6-2, 6-1 at the fifth slot.

Lemmert was also a double winner, taking No. 3 singles 6-0, 6-0 for Frostburg.

The Green Terror concludes its spring break trip to Hilton Head, S.C., against Ramapo on Thursday. Match time is 2:30 p.m.
