Tim Stewart (Smyrna, Del./Smyrna) led the Green Terror (5-3) with a career-best 23 points.
Kevin Agnew led three players in double digits for the Flying Dutchmen (6-3) with 20 points.
Two Agnew free throws after a technical foul with 11:26 on the clock once again gave the hosts an 11-point advantage at 47-36.
Layups from Kevin Yrizarry (Owings Mills, Md./Owings Mills) and Nick Perugino (Lewes, Del./Salesianum) returned the margin to 47-40 with 8:10 to play.
Three straight Stewart baskets gave the junior a new career high and made it a one-point game with 5:27 showing.
Agnew canned a triple 21 seconds later to snap the run and give the Flying Dutchmen their first field goal in more than seven minutes.
Andrew Merlo (Rehoboth, Del./Cape Henlopen) responded with a jumper to make it a two-point game.
Perugino drew the visitors even with 1:47 on the clock before Conrad responded, putting back his own miss 31 seconds later.
After a timeout with 23.6 seconds timeout, the Green Terror had a look in the left corner for a chance to win it but the shot came up just short and a second desperation attempt was off the mark.
Stewart netted McDaniel's first six points before a Nic Martin (Hagerstown, Md./St. Maria Goretti) free throw evened the game at 7-all with 16:21 to play.
Baskets from Stewart and Phil Perry (Crownsville, Md./Annapolis Area Christian) gave the Green Terror an 11-7 lead with 14:41 showing.
A Zach Mrozek layup halted the 7-0 run and Agnew drew Lebanon Valley even with a floater at the 13:24 mark.
Agnew extended the run to 17-3, converting a three-point play to give the Dutchmen a 24-14 lead with 7:52 on the clock.
A Stewart layup 35 seconds later snapped a 5-minute, 13-second scoring drought but Andy Orr responded immediately at the other end to stretch the lead back to 10.
The final seven minutes of the half was played with the lead between six and 11 points en route to a 37-26 halftime margin.
Five straight points, including a Duane Echols (Jessup, Md./Hammond) 3-pointer from the top of the arc closed the deficit to 39-33 with 16:11 showing.
Perry added five assists and six rebounds for McDaniel.
The Green Terror returns to action against New Jersey City in the first round of the Red Robin Holiday Tournament hosted by DeSales on Saturday, Jan. 3. Game time is 4 p.m.
