SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Chloe Allen-Gorman (Portland, Ore./Lincoln) finished 12th in the 800 with the second-fastest time in program history, leading McDaniel at the Susquehanna Open in women's indoor track and field action on Friday.
Becky Kaler (Jefferson, Md./Brunswick) added the best placefinish of the night for the Green Terror, finishing fifth in the 5,000 meters at the non-scoring meet.
Allen-Gorman turned in a time of 2:24.71, which is 1.02 seconds off Holly Thompson's program record and the second-best time ever run in the event by a Green Terror harrier.
Kaler finished the 5K with a time of 19:17.72 to move into sixth place on the program's all-time list. She was the top Division III runner in the race.
The 4x400-meter relay placed seventh with a time of 4:18.75. The quartet of Taylor Stillings (Eldersburg, Md./Liberty), Claire Lawson (McMinnville, Ore./McMinnville), Jasmine McCormick (Antioch, Calif./Holy Name) and Allen-Gorman combined to turn in the seventh-best time posted by the indoor 1,600-meter relay in program history.
Scott was also 13th in the 60 with a time of 8.38 seconds and 16th in the 200 with a time of 27.75 seconds.
Alva Ecker (Gettysburg, Pa./Gettysburg) recorded a pair of top-10 all-time marks among her four events. She was tied for ninth in the triple jump with a Centennial Conference (CC)-qualifying leap of 9.90 meters, which ranks fifth all-time. She also ranks ninth all-time in the 60 hurdles now, finishing 37th with a time of 11.41 seconds.
She also finished 12th in the pole vault (2.60 meters) and 22nd in the long jump (4.16).
Lawson and McCormick also put in a full day in preparation for the pentathlon at the CC championship meet next Friday.
McCormick was 16th in the high jump (1.42 meters) and 60 hurdles (10.30 seconds) in addition to a 22nd-place showing in the long jump (4.16 meters).
Lawson finished 18th in the high jump (1.37), 26th in the hurdles (10.74 seconds), 29th in the long jump (3.54 meters) and 34th in the shot put (5.07).
The championship meet will be hosted by Ursinus on Friday and Saturday.
