Owls sweep singles play in first conference win
BRYN MAWR, Pa. – Anna Perocchi won twice
to lead Bryn Mawr to an 8-1 win over McDaniel in Centennial
Conference (CC) women's tennis action on Saturday.
The Owls (2-12, 1-6 CC) swept singles play in straight sets to
key their first conference win of the season.
Sara Yost (Westminster, Md./Francis Scott Key)
and Jamie Latham (Bethlehem, Pa./Saucon Valley)
recorded the lone point for the Green Terror (2-10, 0-7 CC),
winning 9-7 at second doubles.
Perocchi teamed with Elizabeth Wiseman for an
8-1 win at first doubles before taking a 6-1, 6-0 victory at No. 1
singles.
Wiseman was also a double winner, taking a 6-2, 6-2 decision at
second singles.
McDaniel returns to action at home against Haverford on
Saturday. Match time is 12 p.m.
