Bullets drop five games in all

GETTYSBURG, Pa. – Meghan Kelly and Laura Habecker did not lose a game in a pair of wins to lead Gettysburg to a 9-0 win over McDaniel in Centennial Conference (CC) women's tennis action on Thursday.

Kelly teamed with Katie Taylor for an 8-0 win at first doubles while Habecker partnered with Liz Heisler for an 8-0 win at No. 3 doubles to key a sweep of doubles for the Bullets (7-3, 1-2 CC), who won the five contested singles matches in straight sets.

Jamie Latham (Bethlehem, Pa./Saucon Valley) was the lone player for the Green Terror (1-7, 0-5 CC) to take a game in singles competition, falling at first singles to Taylor, 6-4, 6-0.

McDaniel returns to action at Stevenson on Friday. Match time is 3 p.m.
