Red Devils allow just two points in singles as part of 9-0 win
over McDaniel
WESTMINSTER, MD. – Joelle Nitzberg
notched a 6-0, 6-0 win at first singles in Dickinson's 9-0
win over McDaniel in Centennial Conference (CC) women's
tennis action on Thursday.
In the five contested singles matches, the Red Devils (5-3, 1-0
CC) dropped just two points.
In addition to Nitzberg's win at first singles,
Sarah Woodward and Nora Najnocky
won by the same score at third and fifth singles, respectively.
Alysia Rodgers was a double winner, taking a
6-0, 6-1 victory at second singles before teaming with
Sarah Lindner for an 8-0 win at first doubles.
The Green Terror (1-5, 0-3 CC) returns to action at home against
Swarthmore on Saturday. Match time is 12 p.m.
