Dickman paces Green Terror with sixth-place finish in shot
put
LEWISBURG, Pa. - Kelsey Dickman (Bel Air, Md./Bel
Air) finished sixth in the shot put to lead McDaniel at
the Gulden Relays hosted by Bucknell in women's indoor track and
field action on Saturday.
Dickman threw a season-best distance of 11.29 meters to pace the
Green Terror in the non-scoring meet.
Heidi Davidhizar (Westminster, Md./South Range
(Ohio)) added McDaniel's only other top-10 finish at the
primarily Division I meet, finishing ninth in the 60-meter hurdles
(10.56 seconds). She also added a 19th-place showing in the
60-meter dash with a time of 8.86 seconds.
Emma Nichols (Myersville, Md./Middletown)
finished 11th in the 500 with a time of 1:29.18.
Roxanne Fleischer (Westminster, Md./Winters
Mill) and Emily Hajjar (Frederick,
Md./Urbana) rounded out the Green Terror competitors,
racing in the 3,000. Fleischer was 15th (11:31.65) while Hajjar
crossed 28th (13:25.73).
McDaniel returns to action at the Maryland Invitational on
Saturday.
