Green Terror takes part in Coach I Invitational at F&M
LANCASTER, Pa. - Kelsey Dickman (Bel Air, Md./Bel
Air) won the shot put for the second straight week to lead
McDaniel at the Coach I Invitational hosted by Franklin &
Marshall in women's indoor track and field action on Saturday.
Dickman recorded a throw of 11.06 meters to lead six Green
Terror finishes in the top two at the non-scoring event.
Emma Nichols (Myersville, Md./Middletown),
Katie Corson (Ocean View, N.J./Ocean City) and
Roxanne Fleischer (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill)
all finished second on the track.
Nichols was second in the 800 (2:33.43) while Corson crossed
second in the 400 (1:03.52). Fleischer was second in the 3,000 with
a time of 11:18.53.
Heidi Davidhizar (Westminster, Md./South Range
(Ohio)) added a second-place showing in the 55 hurdles
with a time of 9.81 seconds while the 4x400-meter relay was also
second in a time of 4:38.80.
Hilary Hanus (Hockessin, Del./Cab Calloway School of the
Arts) crossed fifth in the 400 with a Centennial
Conference-qualifying time of 1:07.78.
Davidhizar and Katie Jones (Westminster, Md./Winters
Mill) were fourth in the high jump (1.27 meters) and shot
put (9.14), respectively, and Emily Peoples (Wilmington,
Del./Brandywine) was fifth in the 3,000 (11:47.80) to
round out the top-five finishes.
The Green Terror returns to action at the Susquehanna
Invitational on Feb. 13.
