Green Terror among handful of DIIIs at DI meet
LANDOVER, Md. - Roxanne Fleischer (Westminster,
Md./Winters Mill) finished 15th in the mile and 21st in
the 3,000 to lead McDaniel at the Maryland Invitational in women's
indoor track and field action on Saturday.
Fleischer was the sixth Division III runner to cross the line in
the mile with a time of 5:49.18. She completed the 3,000 in a time
of 11:32.44.
Kelsey Dickman (Bel Air, Md./Bel Air) finished
15th in the weight throw with a hurl of 6.99 meters and was 18th in
the shot put with a toss of 10.12 meters.
Heidi Davidhizar (Westminster, Md./South Range
(Ohio)) finished 20th in the shot put with a throw of 7.74
meters. She was also 24th in the 60 hurdles (10.33 seconds) and
30th in the 200 (31.11).
Emma Nichols (Myersville, Md./Middletown) and
Joy Chand (Frederick, Md./Gov. Thomas Johnson)
rounded out the Green Terror competitors. Nichols was 26th in the
400 (1:08.68) while Chad finished 27th in the mile (6:30.22).
McDaniel returns to action at the Orange and Maroon Classic
hosted by Susquehanna on Saturday.
