CHESTERTOWN, Md. – Jordan Finnegan went
2-0 lead Washington (Md.) to a 9-0win over McDaniel in Centennial
Conference (CC) women's tennis action on Tuesday.
Behind a pair of 8-0 wins at second and third doubles, the
Shorewomen (14-4, 6-2 CC) swept doubles to open a 3-0 lead before
taking all six singles matches.
Finnegan teamed with Mary Kelley at second doubles
before winning 6-1, 6-0 at first singles. Kelley added a 6-0, 6-1
win at fourth singles.
Brittany Marshall and Gabie
Battista recorded the shutout at third doubles before.
Marshall also went 2-0 with a 6-1, 6-2 win at No. 2
singles.
