CARLISLE, Pa. – Hana Thomson capped a 2-0
day with a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 4 singles to lead Dickinson to a 9-0
victory over McDaniel in Centennial Conference (CC) women's
tennis action on Thursday.
The Red Devils (6-4, 2-1 CC) dropped only five games as a team in
singles competition. With the match decided, only a single set to
eight was played fifth and sixth singles.
Thomson teamed with Kat Hood to win 8-2 at first
doubles. Hood added an 8-0 win at fifth singles.
Joelle Nitzberg was also a 6-0, 6-0 victor at
first singles while Brittany Zoll won 8-0 at No. 6
singles.
The Green Terror (0-4, 0-2 CC) returns to action at Swarthmore on
Saturday. Match time is 12 p.m.
