WESTMINSTER, Md. – Dana Russo capped a
two-win day with a 6-0, 6-0 victory at No. 4 singles to lead
Franklin & Marshall to a 9-0 victory over McDaniel in
Centennial Conference (CC) women's tennis action on
Tuesday.
The Diplomats (1-5, 1-0 CC) won all six singles matches in straight
sets to record their first win of the season.
Russo teamed with Valeri Harteg for an 8-5 win at
second doubles. Harteg won fourth singles, 6-2, 6-0.
Devan Hamrit won the most games for the Green
Terror (0-3, 0-1 CC), falling to Shannon
Littlefield 6-0, 6-4 at No. 5 singles.
