LEWISBURG, Pa. – Lindsay Wilson (Catonsville,
Md./Seton Keough) finished sixth in the 3,000 meters and
fifth as part of the 4x800-meter relay to lead McDaniel at the
Gulden Relays hosted by Bucknell in men's and women's
indoor track and field action on Saturday.
After running the leadoff leg of the relay, which the Green Terror
completed in 10:59.62, Wilson was the first Division III runner
across the line in the 3,000 with a time of 10:56.36.
Kevin Bowman (Frederick, Md./Brunswick) led the
McDaniel men with an eighth-place showing in the mile. Also the
first Division III runner to finish his race, Bowman completed the
run in a time of 4:34.34.
Cody Crutchley (Frederick, Md./Gov. Thomas
Johnson), C.J. Naper (New Windsor, Md./South
Carroll) and Scott Pusateri (Accident,
Md./Northern Garrett) joined Bowman on the 4x800 relay
that finished sixth with a time of 8:23.18.
Pusateri also finished 11th in the 3,000 (9:18.04) while
Naper added a 14th-place showing in the mile
(4:39.03).
Rob Kelvey (Westminster, Md./Westminster) was
12th in the 3,000 (9:18.48) while Kyle Levers
(Shamong, N.J./Shawnee) crossed 15th in the 500
(1:16.51).
For the women, Kristin Duling (Hampstead, Md./North
Carroll) finished ninth in the 500 with a time of 1:26.18
before running the leadoff leg of the 1,600-meter sprint medley
relay that finished seventh with a time of 5:05.85.
Emily Hajjar (Frederick, Md./Urbana) and
Lisa Katchan (Baltimore, Md./Mercy) finished
13th (6:39.74) and 14th (6:52.83),
respectively, in the mile.
Emily Peoples (Wilmington, Del./Brandywine)
finished 12
th in the 3,000 (11:22.83).
McDaniel returns to action at the Susquehanna Orange and Maroon
Classic on Saturday.
