Box Score LANCASTER, Pa. - Franklin & Marshall scored a goal in each quarter as the ninth-ranked Diplomats posted a 4-0 victory over the McDaniel College field hockey team in its Centennial Conference opener Wednesday night at Tylus Field.
The Green Terror (3-5, 0-1 CC) faced their second of five nationally-ranked opponents this season, including first of two on the road.

Teaghen Rieder made a career-high 13 saves in her first appearance of the season. She also had 13 saves in a 4-0 loss at Haverford on Oct. 26, 2024.
Franklin & Marshall scored what proved to be the game-winning goal on its third shot just seven minutes into the first quarter.
Reider had one save in first half, but McDaniel trailed just 2-0 after facing 11 shots.
The Diplomats scored just two second-half goals despite taking 28 shots as Rieder had 12 saves and sophomore
Grace Legacy made her second defensive save of the season.
McDaniel returns home for the first time since Sept. 19 on Saturday when it welcomes Haverford to Gill Stadium for a 5 p.m. contest on Homecoming.
