WESTMINSTER, Md. - Junior
Kaylee Comstock totaled her 1,000th career assist as the McDaniel College volleyball team split a tri-match with Goucher and Mount Aloysius on Saturday inside the Gill Center.
The Green Terror (5-1) extended their win streak to five with a four-set win over Goucher before falling to Mount Aloysius in four.
Comstock is the 12th player in program history to reach 1,000 career assists and the first since Gayle Edelstein in 2019.
Comstock now has 1,039 assists in 53 career matches.

The Green Terror overcame a slow start to win the final three sets behind a career-high 12 kills from sophomore
Sydney Turner and a .310 hitting percentage.
First-year
Annika Cortez added 11 kills and hit .269 while adding four services aces and a career-high 14 digs to lead the team defensively.
Comstock totaled 24 assists to go along with five kills and six digs. Sophomore

Abigayle Bowley combined for 10 total blocks.
Goucher (3-3) took advantage of 12 McDaniel attack errors to win the first set before the hosts jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the second and led from start to finish, leading by as many as 14 points to even the match.
The pivotal third match featured five ties and three lead changes, but the set tied at 12-12, the Green Terror scored four-straight points to take the lead and never looked back. Turner had four kills in the set.
Much like the second, the fourth set was all McDaniel who once again, led from start to finish after jumping out to a 12-1 lead. Turner added four more kills as McDaniel totaled 17 with a .361 hitting percentage.
Mount Aloysius 3, McDaniel 1 (25-23, 13-25, 25-20, 25-21)
The last match of the day was tightly contested as it saw 17 ties and 10 lead changes, including 11 ties and seven lead changes in the final two.

Christiana Alapa each had a team-high 10 kills and combined for five blocks. First-year
Arrian Spratt had a career-high 12 digs while Comstock totaled 19 assists, four service aces, and seven digs.
The Green Terror jumped out to an 8-3 lead in the first set before the Mounties (5-3) rallied to take their first lead, 10-9. The set would be tied again at 12-12, but Mount Aloysius extended their lead to 16-12 and never trailed in taking the early lead.
The second set featured two ties, but McDaniel never trailed after scoring the first two points. The hosts led by as many as eight despite totaling just eight kills and a .053 hitting percentage. The Mounties had 11 attack errors and the Green Terror had four service aces.
The third set saw five ties and four lead changes and was tied at 13-13 when Mount Aloysius scored five-straight points to take the lead for good. McDaniel was limited by nine attack errors and three service errors.
The fourth set was the most competitive with six ties and three lead changes. The hosts scored five of the first six points, but the visitors rallied to take their first lead at 10-9. The last tie came at 16-16 before the Mounties scored the next three points. The Green Terror pulled within one on a Mount Aloysius attack error, but could not get over the hump as the visitors held on for the deciding victory.
McDaniel hits the road for just the third time this season on Wednesday when it travels to Wilson for a 7 p.m. matchup with the Phoenix.
