WESTMINSTER, Md. - The McDaniel College women's track & field team finished third at the 2026 ECAC Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Gill Stadium on Saturday.
The Green Terror placed third out of 12 teams with 86.5 points. Juniata won the meet with 128.5 points while Delaware Valley was second with 95. Kean was fourth and Johns Hopkins was fifth.
Junior Sophia Leone placed second in the pole vault with a program record mark of 3.65m, the 43rd-best mark in Division III this season. Junior Michaela Carney placed third at 3.35m and sophomore Tara Hornung placed fourth at 3.35m, tying Carney for the second-best mark in program history.
Senior Allie Rolek placed seventh at 2.75m, first-year Allison Kapustka placed eighth at 2.60m, and senior Summer James placed 10th with at 2.60m.
Sophomore Gabby DeMarco won the triple jump with a leap of 10.02m. Senior Elyssa Greene placed second at 9.18m.
DeMarco also placed second in the long jump with a mark of 4.78m while Greene placed ninth at 4.32m.
Junior Maya Colavito won the 3,000-meter steeplechase in a time of 12:47.67.
Senior Anna Rando placed third in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 16.13 seconds, earning her sixth ECAC medal, tying Bailey Mullen '23 for the program record. Rando also placed sixth in the 200 meters with a time of 26.52 seconds and ninth in the 100 meters at 13.05 seconds.
Senior Ameerah Johnson placed second in the hammer throw with a program-record mark of 38.68m, surpassing the mark of 36.45m set by senior Kate Principio at the Green Terror Invitational on March 3. Principio placed eighth at 34.49m while junior Jess Pronchick placed 15th at 28.94m.
Pronchick placed fourth in the discus with a throw of 32.00m, fourth in the shot put at 10.96m, and ninth in the javelin at 25.14m. Her mark in the shot put moved her into fourth in program history.
First-year Gianna Corrieri ran a time of 2:39.81 in the 800 meters to place eighth.
